Refund policy

Last updated · May 20, 2026Governed by the laws of the Republic of India · Hyderabad jurisdiction

What is refundable, the windows that apply, and the rules around chargebacks. Founding membership carries a 14-day refund window with a 10-hour active-question-time cap. Monthly and yearly subscriptions carry 7-day windows. One refund per person, ever.

§1Founding membership

Founding membership is a one-time payment for lifetime access.

Founding carries a 14-day refund window from the date of the charge, capped by a 10-hour active-answering-time threshold. You may request a full refund inside the window if you have spent fewer than 10 hours actively answering questions on Pinaka. Active time is the time you spent inside mock questions and drill questions; idle time, dashboard time, and time on marketing pages do not count.

After 14 days or after 10 hours of active question-answering time, whichever first, the founding seat is non-refundable; access continues for the lifetime of the service.

The free LSAT mock and the public sample readout exist so the decision is made before payment. The window catches buyer's remorse; the 10-hour cap stops the window from becoming an extended trial.

§2Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions carry a 7-day refund window from the date of the most recent charge. Inside the window you can request a full refund of that charge.

After 7 days, the current period is non-refundable. You can cancel from the dashboard and access continues to the end of the paid period; you are not charged again.

§3Yearly subscriptions

Yearly subscriptions carry a 7-day refund window from the date of the most recent charge. Inside the window you can request a full refund of that charge.

After 7 days, the current year is non-refundable. You can cancel from the dashboard and access continues to the end of the paid period; you are not charged again.

§4One refund per person, ever

A customer who has been refunded on a Pinaka purchase and later resubscribes or buys at any tier is non-refundable on the new purchase. This is enforced server-side at checkout and is not waived.

This rule does not override statutory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction.

§5Beta-to-GA transitions

Beta monthly subscribers grandfather at the beta rate for 6 months after general availability begins, then auto-convert to the GA monthly rate with thirty days written notice. Auto-conversion is never silent.

If you do not accept the new rate, cancel before the effective date for a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of the last beta-rate charge.

§6How to request a refund

Email support@mypinaka.com from the email address on the subscription. Include the date of the charge and, if you have it, the order or invoice number from your receipt.

We confirm receipt within five working days. Refunds are processed by our merchant of record and issued to the original payment method, typically within five to ten business days of confirmation, subject to your card issuer or bank.

§7Chargebacks

Card networks set their own dispute windows, typically 120 days from the transaction date. Those windows are longer than the refund windows above. Filing a chargeback on a charge that is still inside the refund window is unnecessary; email support@mypinaka.com and we will issue the refund inside five working days.

Filing a chargeback after the refund window has expired, or for a purchase where the service has been used (any sign-in or mock attempt after purchase), is a breach of the terms of service. The disputed account is suspended for the duration of the dispute. We respond to disputes with a complete evidence package, including the consent record from checkout, sign-in history, and service-usage logs.

Where Pinaka prevails on the dispute, the account remains terminated, the customer is barred from rebuying, and the disputed amount remains owed.

If you initiated a chargeback by mistake or in haste, ask your bank to withdraw the dispute and email support@mypinaka.com. We can usually restore the account if the chargeback is withdrawn before it is resolved.

This section does not limit your right to dispute an unauthorised charge.

§8Statutory rights

This policy does not override statutory consumer-protection rights of users in the United States, Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction whose law applies to you. Where local law provides a longer refund or cooling-off period than the windows above, the longer period applies.

§9Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, subject to the statutory-rights paragraph above.
