What we refuse
to ship.

The product is defined by what it refuses as much as by what it ships. This page is the list, written down so we cannot drift. If a brief asks for anything below, this document overrides it.

The list

  • No score guarantees.
  • No lecture libraries.
  • No fake instructors, stock-photo coaches.
  • No the founder on the landing page.
  • No dark patterns of any kind.
The why

Four reasons these refusals exist.

Anti-anxiety is structural, not a feature.

The student we serve is already anxious. Every gamification pattern in adjacent products converts that anxiety into compulsion. We will not. No streaks. No daily reminders. No "you might lose your progress" emails. The student sets the rhythm. The product gets out of the way.

The artifact is the ad, not the upsell.

A Pinaka score reveal is the most shareable surface we make. We refuse to put a share-this-score button on it. The artifact already invites the screenshot; the button trivializes what just happened. The student decides what to share, when, and with whom.

Honest scarcity, never manufactured.

250 founding seats is a real cap we will honor. The seats-remaining counter only appears when under 100. No "limited time" banners, no countdown timers, no waitlist puffery. The cap exists so the price stays meaningful, not as a sales mechanic.

No fake teachers, no founder cult.

The Pinaka voice is anonymous on-domain. The founder is not on the landing page, not on the about page, not in author bylines. The product is the brand. People who want to know who built it can find that off-domain. On Pinaka, the work speaks.

Diagnosis is the entire product, not a feature. Every action you take is a diagnostic event.

Emotional

Walk into test day calm enough to perform, so I can study with focus instead of anxiety.

Anti-anxiety design is systemic. No streaks, no notifications, no red until the final five minutes. Calm by construction.

Social

Look like someone serious about law school to my partner, parents, advisor, future admissions.

Every screenshottable surface is designed to travel. No "level up" energy. The work is what travels.

The commitment

Subtract until it breaks. Then add back one.

Restraint is the product. If a Pinaka surface feels empty, that is the brand working correctly. We do not pad. We do not add testimonials, decorative illustrations, or hero gradients to fill space. Every element earns its place. If it does not, it comes out.
